The Home Mentoring Experience is a seven session mentoring curriculum that is conducted in homes. Women will be encouraged and equipped to make their homes places of love and peace.
A hostess (mentor) invites the number of women that she can accommodate around her table (from three to seven). She meets with them and follows the suggested formats that are described in THE HOME EXPERIENCE book.
At the conclusion of the seven sessions, her guests are then encouraged to host a Home Mentoring Experience in each of their homes. In this way, they pass to others what they have experienced.
The Home Mentoring Experience rapidly multiplies every 7 to 14 weeks giving a church the potential to reach large numbers quickly.
WHAT CURRICULUM DO I USE FOR THESE GROUPS?
THE HOME EXPERIENCE book, authored by Devi Titus and Marilyn Weiher, provides everything that you need.
Part I: In-depth biblical principles, study guides, and practical applications for creative home management.
Part II: A complete Mentor's guide with topics such as: What is a Mentor? How to Mentor? Suggested Formats for
the Seven Sessions and much more.
HOW DO I BEGIN?
We will help you! If you want to start the Home Mentoring Experience Groups in your church, please begin by contacting us. Then, you will select ten women to begin as mentors to host small groups. We will send a Mansion Mentor and her assistant to conduct a Home Mentoring Experience LAUNCH.
WHAT IS A LAUNCH?
The LAUNCH is a uniquely designed training experience for your ten mentors. We will send an experienced Mansion Mentor and an assistant to conduct an abbreviated Home Mentoring Experience. They will teach your mentors the principles that are included in the seven-session curriculum.
The LAUNCH begins on Friday evening and concludes at 5:00 pm on Saturday. It is vital that this training be held in a home.
WHO WILL MENTOR ME?
Our LAUNCH team will help you prepare for this unique and grand event. We will mentor you so you can mentor others. We are your support system as you launch this life impacting mentoring ministry in your church.
WHO ARE MANSION MENTORS?
Mansion Mentors have attended a Home Mentoring Intensive at the Mentoring Mansion and have been trained by Devi and Marilyn.
